Yes, we may not like them, but we have to follow them. So, here they are.
General Rules
- Respect the members on here, even if your character hates another, treat other RP-ers with respect.
- No killing unless approved by all staff members. We can't bring any characters back, so don't do it without approval.
- No God-modding. Whatsoever. Simple as.
- I don't really care for swearing. Just do not have a swear word every other word in your post.
Graphic Rules
- You must have an avatar. No excuses. www.iconator.com and www.avatarsdb.com are both great sources for some. If you cannot find one, feel free to PM a staff member and they will find one for you.
- You do not have to have a signature, but they are welcome. I have no limit on how large. Just don't make them too big. If they are, they will be edited to fit the forum.
Posting Rules
- Make the length of your post at least one, well written paragraph long.
- You must be a member to roleplay.
- All posts are in third person. No 'I''s, 'my's, etc. unless they are speaking or thinking.
- No OOCs as a post unless you are in the OOC boards.
Character Rules
- No perfect characters. It's way too annoying.
- No hogging the canons! Limit up to three canons.
- Sorry, but we're not accepting original vegetarian vampires. It says in the books that hardly anyone has that lifestyle besides the Denali's and Cullen's so no nomadic vegans. Sorry. The exception is only counted if approved by the staff members. Contact us before you apply for one and we'll see.
- You can have a maximum of five characters. I don't care what genders they are, just make sure you have at least one girl and one boy.
Application Rules
- Don't roleplay, unless you've been approved. If you're not approved, then a staff member will reply with the problem.
- The codeword or password for your application is 'potato'.
- If you have not finished your application, but you have to go or something, and plan on finishing it later, please post "Not Done" or "ND" in the thread title.
- If you have abandoned your incomplete application for more than a week [seven days], then it will be locked and denied. If you want to access it again, contact a staff member and you will be able to get back to work on it.
- If you have been told to fix something, after you have fixed it place "Modified" in the thread title.
Thread Rules
- If you want to make a situation more mature, then take it to the PMs or IMs. You cannot create mature situations on site. It is against Proboards regulations.
- If you would like to keep a thread to just you and another character, you must put '[closed]' in the title of your thread. If you don't, then others will assume it is open to anyone.
- If somebody has put '[closed]' on their thread, you cannot join that thread, unless you have asked to join or they have tagged you in it.
- Put a status at the title of your thread. If you don't have a status next to your thread title, it is assumed that the thread is fair game and anyone can post in it.
- If the thread is completed, put "Done" or something along those lines as the status.
- If posting a thread in the "Elsewhere" category, but not in one of the already given boards, you may want to detail where to are in the title of the thread or within the start of the post.
